This version
of the outline doesn't capture any
details of the group at all. Instead,
it captures only the general shape of
the group.
All 4 levels of
simplification, as well as anything
inbetween, can be useful in different
circumstances.
Surround the Group
is particularly useful when painting trees,
by helping to link thousands of separate
leaves into fewer shapes. It is also useful
for linking together separate rocks when
painting a rocky
beach.
